Syndication Loan Closing Ceremony for JMI Group LPG Projects

Mutual Trust Bank Ltd. and Agrani Bank Ltd. have jointly arranged a “Syndication Term Loan of BDT 3800 Million” for JMI Group’s LPG projects. It is one of the biggest syndicated loans provided for the construction of a Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) plant in Sitakunda, Chattogram. Mutual Trust Bank is the lead arranger of the loan facility where Agrani Bank is the co-arranger. Some other financial institutions like: NRB Bank, Uttara Finance, and Saudi Bangladesh Industrial and Agricultural Investment are involved with the loan.
“Syndication Loan Closing Ceremony” was held on February 10, 2019 at Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel. The deal was signed in the presence of honorable State Minister, Ministry of Power, Energy & Natural Resources, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh Mr. Nasrul Hamid, MP as chief guest in the Ceremony.
State Minister visits all the stalls to get idea about JMI Group. Mr. Md. Abdur Razzaq, Founder Managing Director of JMI Group briefed the products and the manufacturing facilities JMI sister concerns.
Mr. Jabed Iqbal Pathan (Chairman, JMI Group), Mr. Anis A. Khan (Managing Director & CEO, Mutual Trust Bank), Mr. Md Hedayetullah (Chairman, Mutual Trust Bank), Dr. Zaid Bakht (Chairman, Agrani Bank), Mr. Mohammad Shams-Ul-Islam (Managing Director, Agrani Bank), as well as other senior officials were also present in the ceremony.
